For those who need a bit more to do than good books and great views, there are plenty of hiking trails, biking, wild berries and nature walks full of chirping Eagles and singing birds. Wintertime is one of Homer’s best-kept secrets. You will discover magnificent wintertime skiing, snow shoeing and wildlife viewing, including bird watching. Moose, Bear, and Eagles frequent the property year-round.
Now,
if you do want to get some of that “work” stuff done, this is the place to do
that too. You will be able to concentrate on that art project or book you always
wanted to start, and of course, that stack of paperwork you brought from the
office. Nevertheless, try to resist, just come empty handed, because everything
is here and waiting your enjoyment. You may want to bring some fixings for
your favorite meals, or plan to eat out at some of Homer’s finest restaurants.
You will find everything else you need, house wares, bedding, interesting books
to read, and cookbooks to try your culinary skills, videos, DVDs, and music
CDs. Come wrap yourself up in quite serenity in beautiful Homer by the sea.
